Hydroponic Nutrients:
                      When R&D Aquaponics was doing its original research it envisaged that the grower would prefer a simple soluble complete nutrient powder that could be added to water. Hence R&D developed the one part Total Growth Nutrient powder. This meant that a grower of lettuce would measure out 1 kilogram of the powder and add it to 1000 litres of water with agitation or a tomato grower 2.5 kilograms and add it to 1000 litres of water with agitation. This one part nutrient  or Total Growth Nutrient FN is used by many growers.
                     R&D set out in its early days to produce a one pack complete and balanced nutrient believing that it was the simplest and easiest for the grower to use. This one pack nutrient contains all the essentual natural mineral salts required by plants for balanced growth and is exceptionally popular with the home hobbyist and commercial growers. 
                    However, many growers required a two part nutrient because it is preferable when automatic dosing is involved such as in lettuce production using the NFT or nutrient flow technique. R&D Aquaponics produces a two pack or two part nutrient for these growers. With a two part system 20 kilograms of part A are dissolved in 200 litres of water and 20 kilograms of part B are dissolved in a seperate 200 litres of water. An automatic dosing machine adds equal quantities of solution A and solution B together into the nutrient tank with more water.
